Coronavirus Update

Tuesday 16 June 2020

Good afternoon all,

There have been encouraging reports on the overall suppression of COVID-19 within our communities, with a smaller number of reported cases in Australia over the past few weeks.

We are continuing to monitor government and media reports daily, whilst progressing our phased approach to the relaxation of pandemic restrictions (announced on 26 May 2020).

At this time, I thought it would be worthwhile to share a high-level summary (and timeline) of our pandemic response so far, presented in both written and graphical form. (Please go to your work / personal email to view graphics).

Importantly, we also recently conducted an internal ‘Lessons Learnt’ session involving the Pandemic and Infection Control Working Group, to determine ‘what went well?’, ‘what could have been improved?’ and ‘what further actions are required?’. I look forward to presenting a summary of findings from this session in the near future.

I would again like to thank everyone for their continued efforts during these unprecedented times, and strong focus on ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the participants and staff that we serve.

Together we grow.
